Last weekend, my beautiful wife, our kids, and I set off on a three-hour journey from Cebu City to Alcoy, Cebu—a charming coastal town where pristine beaches meet lush landscapes. Our plan? A fun family getaway with some drone photography to capture the stunning views.

Through Daan-Lungsod, Alcoy, we came across the Main Resort and Hotel, I couldn’t resist launching my drone to capture its beauty from above.

Our Stop at Voda Krasna Resort
We arrived at Voda Krasna Resort & Restaurant, a place that reminded us of the stunning beaches in Initao, Misamis Oriental. We rented a cozy table for just ₱500 and immediately felt at home with the resort’s tranquil vibe and beautiful surroundings.
The kids couldn’t wait to run toward the clear, shallow waters, while my wife and I enjoyed the cool breeze and soft sand beneath our feet. The resort’s charm lies in its simplicity—a perfect blend of nature and comfort.

The cottages dotted along the beach looked like little havens for families and couples alike. It was picture-perfect and every bit as peaceful as it seemed from the ground.
